The operation is performed under general anesthesia.
Depending on the correction area, the upper part of the face, the lower third of the face or a circular lift may be performed. The length and duration of the operation are determined individually and depend on the severity of age changes and the chosen method.
During the surgery, the surgeon performs soft tissue correction taking into account the anatomical features of the patient and a pre-agreed plan. After the operation, the patient is under medical supervision.
Facelift is a surgical operation aimed at correcting age-related facial changes and restoring clearer and more harmonious contours. Depending on the individual findings, a top face lift, a lower third of the face or a circular face lift may be performed.
The operation allows to correct the omission of soft tissues, pronounced folds and change of face. The scope of the intervention and the method are selected individually after consultation with the doctor.
Facelift may be considered in the following cases:
— expressed age changes of a person;
— Omission of soft tissues and facial lesion;
— deep nosocomial creases;
— changes in the area of the cheek, chin and neck;
— aesthetic discomfort associated with age-related changes in appearance.
The rehabilitation period after facelift takes place in stages and individually.
In the first days, there may be swelling, bruising and a feeling of tension in the tissues.
Usually, the initial recovery takes 2 3 weeks, with a gradual return to social activity.
The final result is formed as the tissue recovers and can be evaluated within a few months after surgery.
